Outpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation

Located at the Hattiesburg YMCA we offer Physical, Occupational and Speech Pathology services in one location for those children with special needs for growth and development or injury recovery. Our services are open for children ages Birth–15 years old.

• A comprehensive team approach to helping children restore normal movement for functional daily skills, improve speech and swallowing/feeding or assist with mobility and functional play

• Family-friendly environment in which you are encouraged to participate in your child’s therapy

• Collaboration with other Forrest General and community resources.

Forrest General is also proud to host the Neonatal Developmental Follow Up clinic in cooperation with South Mississippi Neonatology Group and the University of Southern Mississippi. These groups have partnered together for more than 20 years to offer the NICU Developmental Clinic for Forrest General’s smallest patients by screening and monitoring the overall health and development of infants with a history or preterm birth and linking infants who have developmental needs with community services for follow-up. The NICU Developmental Clinic meets once a month at our Out-patient Pediatric Rehab facility at the YMCA.
