Forrest Health offers a comprehensive approach for patient's suffering from strokes or other nervous systems disorders.

Our Neurology Services include a designated stroke unit, which has been certified by the DNV, our accreditation agency, as an Advanced Primary Stroke Care Center.

We also have an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) which offers diagnostic epilepsy monitoring, pre-surgical testing and evaluation.

Forrest General Hospital has a dedicated Neurocritical Care Unit. Our neurologists work with patients and are consulted by other physicians to develop the best plan of care for those suffering from neurological disorders. Some of the common conditions our neurologists diagnose and treat include:
