    Forrest General's 48-bed Critical Care Unit / Intensive Care Unit is staffed 24/7 with Intensivists and equipped to provide the highest level of care. The Unit staff understand family needs and concerns, and the unit features a spacious, comfortable waiting room to allow families to be near their loved ones during a stay in the hospital. A hostess is available to assist with any specific needs or requests.

    Visiting Hours:

    6:00 a.m. - 6:45 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Immediate family only, please. Limit 2 visitors per patient.

    Highland Community Hospital's Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a multipurpose unit designed and equipped for the intensive treatment of critically-ill patients. The primary goal of the ICU staff is to deliver quality care to the critically-ill patient. The unit is staffed by registered nurses, respiratory therapists and care technicians.

    Marion


    Marion General's 6-bed ICU is for medical and surgical patients whose conditions require the need for extensive care due to a critical illness. The ICU cares for patients ages 16 and older. A waiting area outside the ICU is available for family or visitors of ICU patients.

    Visiting Hours:

    8:00 AM – 6:00 PM and 7:30 p.m. – 9:00 a.m. Limit for visitors is 2 per patient.

    Forrest Health facilities are approved by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for participation in Medicare and Medicaid Programs.
