The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a 50-bed unit, composed of cardiac, medical, surgical, and trauma patients who receive around-the-clock care from specially trained physicians and nurses. The unit is equipped with the latest technologies and treatments and includes a spacious, comfortable waiting room to allow families to be near their loved ones during a stay in the hospital. A hostess is also available to assist with any specific needs or requests.Visiting Hours
6:00 a.m. - 6:45 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Immediate family only, please. Limit 2 visitors per patient.
Highland Community Hospital's Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a multipurpose unit designed and equipped for the intensive treatment of critically-ill patients. The primary goal of the ICU staff is to deliver quality care to the critically-ill patient. The unit is staffed by registered nurses, respiratory therapists and care technicians.

Marion General's 6-bed ICU is for medical and surgical patients whose conditions require the need for extensive care due to a critical illness. The ICU cares for patients ages 16 and older. A waiting area outside the ICU is available for family or visitors of ICU patients.
8:00 AM – 6:00 PM and 7:30 p.m. – 9:00 a.m. Limit for visitors is 2 per patient.
