    Care Management Organization to offer virtual seminars to educate public on Medicare/Individual healthcare options

    A series of free educational videos to provide the community with valuable information on Medicare and individual health plans.

     

    Hattiesburg, Miss. (October 1, 2020) Care Management Organization, a division of Forrest General Hospital and Hattiesburg Clinic, is providing a free educational video series to answer questions and provide information about Medicare and Individual Health Plans for all ages.

     

    Information will be shared about Medicare, Medicare Supplemental Plans, Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare Prescription Drug Plans, and how to enroll in the plan of your choice through a series of video seminars and informational videos beginning September 28. The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period is October 15 through December 7, and CMO provides you with free Medicare enrollment services for Part C Advantage Plans and Medicare Supplemental Plans.

     

    “The Care Management Organization provides free health insurance consultations to anyone living in Forrest General’s 19-county service area, whether you do business with us or not,” said Stephen Ryan, Director of Insurance Operations at Forrest General Hospital. With the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period around the corner, the Care Management Organization is dedicated to assisting anyone find and enroll in the best Medicare Benefit Options, or Affordable Care Act Marketplace Plans available in the Pine Belt. “Our services are always free so contact CMO, the only insurance agency backed by the area’s leaders in healthcare,” said Ryan.

     

    During Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period, a Medicare enrollee can:

     

    • Enroll in a Medicare Part C Advantage Plan for the first time.
    • Change to a different Medicare Advantage Plan for the 2021 Plan Year.
    • Change to a different Medicare Advantage Company for the 2021 Plan Year.
    • Disenroll from a Medicare Advantage Plan and change back to Original Medicare, adding a Medicare Supplemental Plan (if qualified).
    • Enroll or make changes to Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plan for 2021.
