Forrest General hosts hospital tour for local students
Hattiesburg, Miss. (October 20, 2016)– On Thursday, October 20, Forrest General Hospital hosted an anatomy class from Hattiesburg High School. These students were able to tour various departments within the hospital and meet medical professionals in areas including the Cancer Center, Wound Healing Center, and Food and Nutrition.
“This tour was a great way for them to gain exposure to the hospital environment while gaining insight on many factors of delivering healthcare. We felt honored to provide these students with a closer look at some of the many medical services offered by our hospital which may impact their future educational endeavors,” said Michael Marks, Forrest General public relations coordinator.
