Forrest General’s Rehabilitation Center earns Three-Year CARF Accreditation

The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities International (CARF) announced that Forrest General’s Rehabilitation Center has been accredited for a period of three years for its General Adult and Stroke programs. The latest accreditation is the 5th consecutive Three-Year Accreditation that the international accrediting body, CARF, has given to Forrest General’s Rehabilitation Center.

“Our CARF accreditation tells our patients that we provide the highest quality care; we want them know our Therapists and Rehab Nurses work hard to help all of our patients achieve their goals. We are pleased to know, without a doubt, that we meet the high national standards set forth by the accreditation commission,” said Donna Wheeless RPT, director, Forrest General’s Rehabilitation Center.

This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be given to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process. It has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.
