Description

Our prenatal and breastfeeding class at Highland Community Hospital is here to prepare you for your new arrival and help you have a successful feeding plan for your baby. In class, you will learn about steps to take to have a healthy pregnancy and what you can expect with each trimester, from your doctor’s visits and signs of labor to birthing plans and delivery.

You will learn about the benefits of breastfeeding for both mother and baby, the nutritional value of breastmilk, latching, newborn feeding patterns, and how to know your baby is feeding well.

This class also includes a tour of the HCH birthing facilities.

It will be held the second Tuesday of every month at 6 PM. For more detailed dates, please click the registration link above to view the dates and sign up for the class.
